- Karl Hutter, father of the current owner Iris Rapel, dies
- Takeover by the 2nd generation, Iris & Wolfgang Rapel, who run their TUI travel center in Tettnang in parallel until the year 2000

Reopening
- Winter 1999/2000 Reconstruction of the entire hotel complex with a new layout of the premises
- Former owner's apartment on the 3rd floor converted into hotel rooms
- New room layout: 8 single rooms, 7 standard double rooms and 4 double rooms with separate living and sleeping areas

Renting another hotel
- Renting a small hotel in Tettnang to be able to cover the number of guests

Third conversion / extension
- 2010/2011 extension on the ground floor with 5 single and 1 double room, all with terrace

- Addition/extension of the breakfast room and redesign of the entire hotel facade
- Closing of the rented hotel in Tettnang

- Winter 2021/2022 conversion/redesign of a total of 16 single and double rooms

Extension of parking spaces
- In May 2022, our hotel's own, video-monitored parking spaces were completed within a short walking distance (about 1 minute's walk) from the hotel and are now available to our guests.

Hotel entrance canopy
- In June 2022 the roofing of the entire hotel entrance was completed

Completion of the fourth conversion
- In March 2023 we completed our fourth renovation with the completion of the last room. You will find the completely redesigned room under the Comfort double room category with balcony/terrace
